The Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM), founded in 1848, is Ireland’s oldest music conservatoire and a global top-50 institution for the performing arts. Located in Dublin, it provides musical training ranging from pre-school "Junior RIAM" classes to doctorate-level degrees.
Rockschool (RSL Awards)
exams are contemporary music qualifications designed for musicians playing modern styles like rock, pop, metal, and funk. They offer a practical alternative to traditional classical exams, focusing on industry-relevant skills and performance.
RGT@LCM exams
are internationally recognised qualifications for guitarists, ranging from beginner (Step 1) to professional (Grade 8) and advanced diplomas. Organised by London College of Music Exams and certificated by the University of West London, they are regulated by Ofqual and provide UCAS points for university entrance at Grades 6 to 8.
